Scotland’s Trade Fair, which takes place from 27-29 Mar at the SEC in Glasgow, has seen a flurry of new suppliers booking stands and looking for a slice of the Scottish gift and home market. Despite the postponement of the Show due to Covid restrictions, the Show looks set to be a hive of buying, sourcing and networking.
Ones to look out for are The Coorie Company, Bella & Boo Kids, Turtle Doves, Fiddy & Mabel, Holy Mackerel, Aveva Design, Paraffle Embroidery, Scottish and Boxt Socks as well as many many more.
Following all the other successful UK trade Shows, there is a confidence from buyers that they are keen to source new stock, place orders for 2022 ranges and re-connect with established companies, ahead of what’s hoped will be a more normal summer season with tourists and staycationers visiting Scotland in their droves.
Lucie McIlroy Miller from National Museums of Scotland said: “Not only is Scotland’s Trade Fair a great showcase of suppliers from Scotland and the UK but it gives us the chance to meet other retail professionals, allowing us to gain valuable insight into the industry as a whole.â€
The Launch Gallery, for new young companies, is brimming with innovation with exhibitors such as Tammie Norries, The Shoal, Soap & Mhor, Sea Fern Candles, Scribe & Grow, Janus Edinburgh, By Anna and many more.
For galleries and those looking for something more exclusive and crafty, the Craft Gallery must be visited. Among the exhibitors here are Rosella & Lime, Mary Howard George, Milomade, Islewear, Helen Chalmers, Fiona Dane Jewellery and Candy Coated Accessories.
Scotland’s Trade Fair has added value too, with its busy Talking Shop arena where hot topics will be discussed and knowledge imparted, and our speakers will inspire and inform buyers of new tricks of the trade – https://www.scotlandstradefairs.com/whats-on/talking-shop-seminar-timetable

The winning products will be announced around 11am and then displayed in the centre of the Show.
Mark Saunders, Show Director added: “There is a buoyant mood among retailers and suppliers alike who are longing to come back together at Scotland’s Trade Fair and order, network and return to some sort of normality. We are hugely encouraged by the many new companies exhibiting and the fresh, exciting ranges from all the suppliers. We look forward to welcoming you back from 27-29 March in Glasgow.â€
