ExaClair announces quintet of nominations at the Stationery Matters Awards

ExaClair Limited, the UK subsidiary of the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, has received five nominations for the 2022 Stationery Matters Awards, which are due to take place during the upcoming London Stationery Show in May.

The new Teksto range from Exacompta is being highlighted with a nomination for its selection of display books in the Filing & Storage Product of the Year category. Up to 25% of the Teksto range is made from production offcuts that have been reintegrated into the manufacturing process. In addition to featuring detachable materials without metallic rivets to ensure easier recycling, these innovative FSC certified display books feature card covers that reduce the product’s share of plastic waste by up to 60%.

A new range of Rhodia weekly desk pads has been shortlisted in the Best Diary, Organiser or Calendar of the Year classification. These latest additions to the Rhodia brand not only provide a practical desk pad that functions as a weekly planner but can also be used as a keyboard and mouse support. Each version incorporates a perpetual diary template, daily planning columns and a ruler measurement tool.

Following the success of the popular Rhodia Goalbook journals, the recently launched Goalbook Creation range has also been nominated for Best Journal of the Year. These hardcover notebooks allow the user to bullet journal in a creative way by combining the Rhodia brand with bestselling Clairefontaine art papers.

The Kenzo Takada Clairefontaine collection of luxury stationery is also represented at the awards, as the gift set has been chosen as a finalist within the Licenced Stationery Product of the Year category. This set showcases the range by featuring an assorted selection of notebooks, art paper pads and correspondence items, as well as a calligraphy pen, a bottle of Jacques Herbin Shogun ink and a scented candle from the Jacques Herbin range.

Finally, the Clairefontaine Triomphe notebooks have been shortlisted for Social Stationery Product of the Year. These elegant notebooks are available in both gold and platinum editions, which feature a traditional sewn spine and the PEFC certified Clairefontaine 90gsm brushed vellum paper that’s loved by pen fans globally.

ExaClair marketing manager Lawrence Savage said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards, and to have been nominated within five separate categories just goes to underline the innovation and effort of those involved in the development and manufacturing processes across the whole Exacompta Clairefontaine group.”

The winners will be announced at the London Stationery Show on May 17 and all shortlisted products will be displayed at the event.
