National Stationery Week takes place between May 15 and May 21 and celebrates stationery in all forms. Since its launch in 2011, it has campaigned to get more consumers into shops by encouraging them to put pen to paper. This year is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before with the stellar line-up of brands. The initiative runs alongside London Stationery Show, billed as the UK’s leading trade exhibition dedicated to arts & crafts, greeting cards, paper products and writing instruments. This year’s event takes place on May 16 and May 17 at the Business Design Centre in Islington. Registration is now open for the show. London Stationery Show event director Alex Butler commented: “It’s wonderful to see so many suppliers engage with this year’s campaign, and I can’t wait to see how retailers interpret each of the daily hashtags in their own stores. It’s a privilege to be a part of such an important campaign which gets more people writing.”
