Sarah Watmore, founder of British accessories brand Miss Milly, has launched the Emporium of Loveliness in Worcester.

The 32sq m store opened on April 29 at Mill Farm Country Retail in Stanford Bridge, a destination site about 13 miles from Worcester in the heart of the Teme Valley.

Sarah told Gifts Today: “We’d been looking for a retail opportunity for a while and Mill Farm is a rural shopping, beauty and food destination fairly local to us. I used to have a retail outlet with my previous brand and always enjoyed the interaction with the general public and selling a wider range of accessories. Once Miss Milly was well established as a wholesaler, and following last year’s project to move the website and improve ordering processes, I started keeping my eyes open.”

Miss Milly opens bricks-and-mortar shop

The shop features Miss Milly jewellery and scarves, supplemented with bags, umbrellas and hair accessories. Key brands are Soruka, Cadenza, Eliza Gracious, My Doris and Elizabeth Scarlett.

So far Miss Milly jewellery is the top seller, closely followed by Soruka bags made with colourful upcycled leather, and then claw clips.
