Enesco has announced some significant changes to its brand team.
Iain McGeary has joined as senior brand marketing manager, heading up the brand team on a day-to-day basis. He is an experienced marketing and brand manager, who brings extensive knowledge gained during his most recent roles in the sports fishing industry working for Rapala VMC Corporation. He works from home in Newcastle, close enough for regular visits to the Enesco head office in nearby Carlisle. Outside work, Iain can be found spending time with his three children and, of course, is a Newcastle United Season ticket holder.
Adi Jones was born and raised in Mumbai, India and now lives in Cockermouth in Cumbria, where she started playing rugby at the age of 45. She has joined Enesco to support the brand, sales and marketing teams as a product administrator, assisting with the all-important forecasting (among other things). Adi has been very busy having successfully completed two masters degrees while raising her daughter, and has even found time to be an extra in the film Supernova, with Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci.
Tom Dunning– Lewis and Enesco are a perfect match with Tom’s passion for interior design, collectables, digital technology, house plants and craft gin. Based at home in Lancaster, Tom has joined the team as brand marketing manager. He has a varied skillset, having previously worked with a PR agency in Brighton, a UK charity in Uganda and, most recently, he managed the marketing for an international company specialising in fire protection.
Finally, Enesco welcomes Summer Cottam to the ecommerce team as a digital assistant. She is passionate about digital creation, marketing and art: the perfect combination for her new role. Having grown up in Spain , Summer is fluent in Spanish and in her free time can be found hiking, gardening or knitting.
Enesco head of marketing and ecommerce Aline Mellor said: “At Enesco, we’ve had a lot of change with our new ownership, opening up new opportunities for our teams to expand, bringing in fresh ideas and a drive for a brighter future. We are now the UK leader in home fragrance for the independent gift sector and with an ever-changing landscape in our industry, changes were needed to keep us at the top of our game.”
