Meg Hawkins, founder and designer of the giftware company Meg Hawkins Art, has been shortlisted as a finalist in two prestigious awards. Both are in recognition of Meg’s business growth, outstanding creativity, and inspiring role as a leading female in business.

She is a finalist in the Maker and Creator of the Year category of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Now in its 11th year The Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate outstanding individuals and businesses that drive innovation, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the UK economy.
Meg said: “I’m so delighted to be shortlisted with The Great British Entrepreneur Awards. To be recognised in the creative industry is amazing.”
The awards ceremony will take place on November 20 at London’s Grosvenor House.

Meg is also a finalist in the Creative Businesswoman category of The Great British Businesswoman Awards, with the winner recognised for being a female leading a profit-making business, in which the creative process has an economic, social and a cultural impact.

The Great British Businesswoman Series’ mission is to provide a platform to recognise, celebrate and support women in business, champion their peers and advocates, and help foster the next generation of female business leaders.
This awards ceremony will take place on November 22 at London’s Leonardo Royal Hotel.

Meg is a watercolour artist and homeware designer. Inspired by her surroundings and wanting to bring bright, colourful, and joyful artwork featuring animals from all over the world to your home, Meg Hawkins Art was created.

Established in 2015, Meg Hawkins Art started life as Meg Hawkins Illustrations from the kitchen table. Since then, Meg has gone on to sign licencing agreements, and produces her own homeware, giftware and greeting cards ranges, which are sold all over the world.
