Top Drawer significantly expands floorplan to keep up with demand

Show organiser Clarion Retail has announced that due to unprecedented demand, Top Drawer’s Greetings & Stationery and Wellbeing sections will be significantly expanded for the S/S24 edition

Top Drawer will return to Olympia London from January 14 to January 16, with more than contemporary brands presenting new collections to over 10,000 retailers.

Following a record-breaking onsite rebook at the start of 2023, coupled with a host of new and lapsed brands returning this season including Eleanor Bowmer, Littlemore Candle Company, Oast & Rye, Objectables, Oh Squirrel, Oir Soap, Panier Des Sens, Paper Rose, Papier, and U Studio, both the Greetings & Stationery and Wellbeing sections are on course to see over 50% growth for the coming show.

Show Manager David Westbrooke said: “Seeing such a huge increase in both sectors is testament to our campaign to deliver the best possible customer experience. Clarion Retail has long been known for its customer-first approach, and this has especially borne fruit over the past 12 months. Not only are we expanding Top Drawer to keep up with demand, but Home & Gift 2024 is also already 75% sold after just three months! It’s certainly shaping up to be an exciting year!”

Visitors to Top Drawer Spring 2024 will be treated to its most diverse product offering yet, with over 25% of the floorplan playing host to new exhibitors making their show debut. In addition, January will see the introduction of the Spotlight Awards, highlighting the best in class across the event, as well as the new Top-Drawer Product Pitch, which sees brands pitch their products one-on-one to retailers.

For retailers looking for inspiration and practical advice in January, the newest and hottest trends will be on display at Top Drawer courtesy of show partner The Better Trends Company, allowing buyers to discover what’s set to influence consumer habits and provide their next best-sellers for the coming months.

RetailFest will once again hold a range of sessions covering some pressing issues that shopkeepers are set to face next year and, after its successful introduction in September, the Business Hub is also set to return across all three days of the S/S24 edition with an expanded lineup of industry experts on hand to give tailored guidance to retailers to ensure they’re ready to hit the ground running this Spring.
