It’s been all hands on deck this month at Enesco, as employees from across the company have been joining their hardworking colleagues in the gift supplier’s Carlisle warehouse to pick, pack and ship those all-important orders for Christmas sales.
Demand for Enesco’s licensed giftware including Disney, Willow Tree and Yankee Candle has increased significantly in recent weeks. So weekends and evenings have seen the extended team pull together, including directors, customer service and marketing teams, family members and ex-employees.
Enesco trade marketing manager Aylish Ellwood (pictured in the middle) with Jan Szkoda warehouse operative and Pat Kendall (an ex-employee who came back to help after 11 years!) said: “Enesco is a big global company with a team spirit often associated with a much smaller family run business. The deadline for Christmas isn’t going to be extended! So when needs must, there is a strong sense of ‘we are all in it together’ to achieve our goals.”
