Floss & Rock has been recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, a commendation for excellence in International Trade.
In December, the Lord-Lieutenant, her party, the Mayor of Fylde and Consort, visited the company’s Blackpool office to present the award to Floss & Rock’s founders Tim Hislop and Gill Stratton.
Tim said: “It was a huge honour to welcome the Lord-Lieutenant and her party to the office. This award reflects the huge efforts our entire team has made especially over the past six years to grow our sales network across the world in spite of many challenges – including a global pandemic and international war. This presentation was a brilliant opportunity to introduce the team to the Lord-Lieutenant and her party; an acknowledgement for all the hard work that’s led us to this incredible accolade.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise was previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, and the new name reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
