Following a live judging event at Spring Fair, the Giftware Association (GA) has revealed the finalists of its Gift of the Year (GOTY) 2024 Awards.
The winners and highly commended products will be announced at The Gift Awards ceremony, which takes place at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on May 16.
GA PR and marketing manager Chris Workman said: “The live judging was a resounding success. It was held over the show’s four days and attracted attention throughout – not just from the judges but from visitors, who were using the feature area as a stop-off point to find the best new exciting products on offer. It really showcased the brands that were exhibiting – and gave a huge opportunity to those that weren’t.
“We couldn’t have been happier with the area, which allowed the products to shine and get the attention they deserve. We also signed up a potential 80 new judges from across the retail spectrum for next year’s Awards. And what was also great to hear was the traffic that shortlisted exhibitors got to their stands from being on display with us.”
Once again, the GOTY Awards will announce the People’s Choice Award which is judged by the public, enabling everyone to vote for their favourite product across the 20 GOTY categories. The GA has opened voting up to all shortlisted products, and with more than 3,000 votes already counted, there is still a chance for a shortlisted company to get through to become the People’s Choice winner.
