CHSI Stitches 2024 delivers innovation and inspiration

CHSI Stitches 2024 welcomed buyers and creators to the NEC in Birmingham on February 25 and February 26 to discover innovations, the latest trends and make new connections – all while promoting sustainability in the craft industry.

The trade show was themed around the 3 Ps of sustainability – People, Planet, and Profit – and attracted professionals from across the craft sector. The eventemphasised the significance of achieving a balance among social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and economic profitability.

The exhibition floor featured a diverse array of craft products curated by leading suppliers, ranging from traditional favourites to innovative materials.

Attendees could get hands on with the latest creations from across the craft spectrum including yarns, fabrics, and kits, while the demonstration theatre brought products to life and gave visitors creative ideas for sales opportunities. 

Notable trends at the show included continued interest in bag-making, quirky yarns for toy and accessory creation, and the introduction of new fashion yarns, signallingexciting developments in the craft market.

CHSI Stitches also featured a stellar lineup of respected business experts sharing essential insights. Topics covered included retail, e-commerce, digital marketing, and sustainability – and a special highlight of the show was the sustainability showcase, spotlighting the most ethical products available and inspiring visitors to prioritise eco-responsible sourcing.
