Exclusively reveals style trends

Exclusively Style Trends

The Exclusively Show, which takes place at the Business Design Centre in London on June 11 and June 12, has a well-established reputation for predicting commercial trends in gifts, housewares, and small domestic electricals.

As exhibitors start to submit products for the ‘so on trend’ displays at the trade fair, Phil Pond from trend forecaster Scarlet Opus has supplied an insight into colour and pattern trends to look out for in 2024/25 and beyond.

In terms of colours, there is a wide potential palette ranging from mock orange and rust, and tea and olive, to virtual pink, lemon zest, gumdrop green, and Dutch blue.

“It’s great for both exhibitors and visitors to get some preview insight into the top trends ahead of the event itself. It ensures that Exclusively is, as ever, a real showcase of the absolute best and most current housewares, gift, and small domestic electrical products in the industry”

Patterns major on flora and fauna, especially where imprecise, distorted or reflected. Worn, faded and blurry are also very much on trend in terms of surface design.

Exclusively Chair Will Jones commented: “It’s great for both exhibitors and visitors to get some preview insight into the top trends ahead of the event itself. It ensures that Exclusively is, as ever, a real showcase of the absolute best and most current housewares, gift, and small domestic electrical products in the industry.”

The show will feature trend talks and trend tours for buyers, as well as the displays of exhibitors’ products that have been pre-selected for being ‘so on trend’.
