The Exacompta Clairefontaine group is thrilled to announce that it has received six nominations for the 2024 Stationery Awards. The award winners will be revealed at a ceremony which takes place at the London Stationery Show on May 14.
Showcasing the new Neo Deco range, which brings the classic 1920s spirit of the Art Deco movement to life within the workspace, is the SMALL-BOX drawer set. These mini storage units are ideal for any desktop area and are one of the latest innovations within the Exacompta portfolio. Named as a finalist in the Working From Home Product of the Year category, they are made from recycled post-consumer plastic waste and carry the prestigious Blue Angel environmental certification. With a combination of two narrow drawers for smaller items such as phones and pens, and one wider drawer that can hold A4+ documents, they offer a multi-functional solution for storing a worker’s essentials. Two capsule tray holders are also available for the wider drawer: one for Nespresso and one for Vertuo capsules.
Nominated for the Filing & Storage Product of the Year award, the Skandi Smart Cases range from Exacompta offers a sustainable and practical choice for those seeking storage solutions for organising office stationery and other household items. With the ability to be stored flat, stacked together, or even mounted on top of each other, these stylish units are completely foldable and made from 50% recycled polypropylene, making them extremely resilient.
Additionally, the eco-friendly collection of Clairefontaine Bamboo Watercolour papers is being highlighted through its range of wirebound and glued pads, which is nominated for Sustainable Product of the Year. Completely produced using bamboo fibres, they provide a sustainable choice for those seeking a quality artists paper. This acid-free, pH neutral, 250gsm paper has a fine grain surface which is ideal for watercolour or acrylics. It is also suitable for wash and ink paints, as well as other techniques, including pencil, charcoal, sanguine and Indian ink.
“We are over the moon to have been nominated for these esteemed awards”

Another Clairefontaine collection is represented in the Licensed Stationery Product of the Year category. The Moulin Rouge range allows you to step into the enchanting universe of the Parisian cabaret with this new collection, where elegance and modernity take centre stage. Treated with a satin lamination, the products also feature a shiny spot varnish and textured flocking that conveys the glamorous essence of the collection. The range includes a wide selection of premium notebooks (wirebound, stapled and casebound), elasticated folders, storage boxes, magnetic bookmarks, a mini planner, a correspondence kit and a memopad. For artist enthusiasts, a multi-technique notebook, calligraphy set, and art folder is available.
Following on from the popularity of the award-winning Inkebana range, Ginkgo notebooks combine pine-green dyed leather that seamlessly blends with indigo leather, while featuring a delicate Ginkgo leaf design. Shortlisted in the Notebook or Journal of the Year category, the notebooks’ Clairefontaine 90gsm brushed vellum ivory paper is world renowned.
Finally, an addition to the portfolio of Clairefontaine Handicraft products – the newly released Origami Bunch of Flowers Kit – contains everything you need to design your very own floral bouquet. This product has been nominated for the Arts & Crafts Product of the Year award.
Lawrence Savage, marketing manager for ExaClair, which is the UK subsidiary of the group, said: “We are over the moon to have been nominated for these esteemed awards. To have been shortlisted within six separate categories is tremendous and emphasises the innovative nature and endeavour of those involved in the development and manufacturing operations across the whole of Exacompta Clairefontaine.”
