Marian McNamara, our very own Gifts Today and Greetings Today advertisement manager, will be taking part in this year’s London Luton Airport (LLA) Charity Cycle Challenge – covering 220 miles from Dublin to Dingle Bay – in a bid to raise funds for two charities.
She has been taking part in the challenge since 2019, when she and the rest of her team cycled from Paris to Amsterdam, helping to raise more than £60,000 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
“It’s great to see local charities benefit. Luton is my home town and with the cost-of-living crisis at the moment, more people than ever are turning to food banks to help. And of course the Air Ambulance is always a worthy recipient”

This year’s funds from the three-and-a-half-day cycle challenge will go to the East Anglian Air Ambulance and Luton Food Bank. The 16-strong team aim to raise £30,000.

She has been training for the event with local cycle rides after a hard day selling adverts to our wonderful clients, and recently completed the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to get even more two-wheeled rides in.
