Exclusively Housewares raises £20K

More than 30 suppliers from the gift, housewares and small electricals sectors which exhibited at the Exclusively Show have collectively raised £20K for industry charity The Rainy Day Trust (RDT).

Exhibitors were asked to donate products from their stands at the end of the event, which took place on June 11 and June 12 at London’s Business Design Centre, for the charity to pass on to families in need, or to sell and raise money for the same purpose. Suppliers responded in style and pallet loads of stock were promised to RDT.

“We have now had chance to value the donated product and it’s clear that Exclusively exhibitors have contributed £20K to the charity, just from their donations at the Show”

RDT CEO Bryan Clover commented: “We have now had chance to value the donated product and it’s clear that Exclusively exhibitors have contributed £20K to the charity, just from their donations at the Show.  Everyone at RDT is immensely grateful to all the donors and to the Exclusively Show as a whole for supporting us.”

Exclusively Show Chair Will Jones said: “It’s always a pleasure to help RDT with the very good and much needed work it does for people who work – or have worked -in any avenue of the home and garden industry.  More suppliers than ever donated this year, with more product than any previous year, and this amazing monetary result is the impressive result of their generosity.”
