According to Cindy Qiu, founder and director of tapestry gift company Signare, the licensing event of the year “must be the new Paddington movie, which premieres on November 8”. She says: “This is THE hot property, with Jo Malone London launching a Paddington-inspired limited-edition fragrance collection of Orange Marmalade cologne and a series of gifts – and Signare has launched Paddington Marmalade: a stunning collection of tapestry bags and accessories featuring a fun new design.”

The celebrate, Signare ran two competitions last month – one online and one at Autumn Fair – to win Jo Malone London Paddington-inspired goodies.

The winner of the online contest is Louise Barnes, owner of gift shop Jacks of Bath. She was presented with her prize of a Jo Malone Limited Edition Perfume Set worth £147 by Signare’s southwest agent by Paul Nott.

The winner of a business card draw on Signare’s stand at Autumn Fair is Dominique Patterson, divisional manager of Knights Garden Centre based at Betchworth. She received her prize of a Jo Malone Large Gift Set worth £174 from Signare’s southeast agent Martyn Glass.
