Spring Fair, which celebrates its 75th anniversary at the NEC in Birmingham from February 2 to February 5, has announced the 12 new winners of retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis’s #SBS Small Business Sunday initiative, who will each receive a free stand at the show.
Since 2018, Spring Fair has joined forces with Theo and #SBS Small Business Sunday to support start-up businesses. Together, they have worked with more than 60 SMEs, playing a vital role in their future success.
The 2025 show will welcome the dozen winners, who each receive free stand space in the #SBS Village in Hall 5 to display their designs. They are:
Chomp: products created to bring joy and ease to little ones’ magical and messy weaning moments including bibs, weaning sets and utensils;

Theo said: “This partnership goes from strength to strength and the fantastic #SBS businesses benefit greatly from this multi-free stand opportunity. Over 60 SMEs – and #SBS Small Business Sunday winners – will have been able to showcase their businesses and find new routes for business growth through this gem of an opportunity. I always encourage our 4,000-plus small businesses to take advantage of this one and I know that it will deliver even more for them next year, in Spring Fair’s 75th anniversary year. I look forward to seeing the rewards and avenues of opportunity it brings for the winners in 2025 and beyond.”
Spring Fair event director Soraya Gadelrab added: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Theo and #SBS as we celebrate our 75th anniversary and continue to inspire businesses, big or small, to showcase at Spring Fair. Every year, the #SBS Village receives the most fantastic reception from buyers who love to discover the next generation of businesses and innovative products. It’s an honour to announce the 12 talented winners, and we look forward to championing them at the show.”
