British luxury candle brand Fernlea & Dale was named as a winner of a coveted Small Business Sunday (#SBS) award on February 24, selected by retail entrepreneur and former Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis.
This recognition places Fernlea & Dale among a distinguished group of small businesses acknowledged for their passion, innovation, and entrepreneurial excellence. Small Business Sunday is an initiative created by Theo in 2010 which celebrates outstanding small businesses across the UK. Each week, businesses that demonstrate exceptional dedication and potential are personally selected for the nomination.
Founded in 2024 by mother-daughter duo Kate and Kiara Martin, Fernlea & Dale is based in a small village outside Lincoln and is dedicated to crafting hand-poured candles using non-toxic natural soy wax and ethically sourced materials.
From the rich warmth of Fireside Leather to the delicate floral notes of Blooming Grove, the brand’s signature scents and elegant design reflect a deep appreciation for slow living and refined home ambiance – offering customers an invitation, not just a candle.
