Kendal-based Blade & Rose is celebrating its 13th birthday this month and to mark the milestone, the company recently hosted a ‘cake smash’ for all its gorgeous models.
The children’s clothing brand, which specialises in trendsetting leggings and clothing accessories, began with three pairs of award-winning leggings which were created by Amanda Peffer during her maternity leave in 2010.
Such was the initial success of the products that within a year, both Amanda and her co-founder husband Jon Peffer gave up their full-time jobs to concentrate on growing the brand.
The company evolved organically, with initially all the profits being invested back into the business. Many of the original stockists who bought into the signature leggings are still the top stockists today, demonstrating the loyalty of Blade & Rose’s trade customers and the strength of its products.
