Ashleigh & Burwood is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Lloyd as its new International Director: a role created to spearhead the organisation’s ambitious global expansion plans.
Steve brings a wealth of experience, with an impressive track record of driving international business growth, including a significant leadership career at Boots The Chemist developing new international markets in Europe and Asia, and CEO of North America prior to and into its merger with Walgreens in the USA.
He joins Ashleigh & Burwood from British brand Baylis & Harding, where he led significant international growth in more than 50 countries, but especially in the US, where he navigated and led through the impact and opportunities of both Covid and Brexit.
In this new role, Steve will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive international business strategy, to maximise potential in existing overseas markets as well as establishing the company brands in all EU markets, Australia, North America, and other markets in Asia outside of Japan. Working closely with the export team, his objective is to lead and develop the team to global success.
